Music Used

I was in charge of the music, it was quite late on that our group realised we could not use any track that was already out as this was plagiarism, therefore we had to on short notice, make our own track using the music creativity programme on the school pc named 'Garage Band'. The programme was easy to use and helpful including lots of different instruments, those that are used in our sequence, i feel, work well producing a rather tense atmosphere. Although the storyline wouldn't be seen as suspensful, the way we showed Jack Sadler as the main character in our film was almost scary therefore we needed music to also permit this image. The music works well with our piece gaining in volume once the main character comes into shot creating a good effect and telling the audience he is of great importance. The music works well and is in time with the characters walking motion, what works well especially with the music and the sequence is as soon as the main character walks into the interview room , the music stops and all that is heard is the noise of the door opening. Soon after, more music slowly plays, this time, more percussion is used at a quieter volume, this works well with the scene and creates suspense. I am pleased with the result of the music and happy with the image and thoughts it can create with our sequence. Alex Lloyd
