One film i filmed during the time of researching and developing was Shawn of the Dead, this is taken as more of a comedy than anything else but one scene caught my eye, the editing used included alot of quick cuts building a very fast series of shots. They are then finished with a slow, long lasting shot at the end. I managed to find the video including this small scene on youtube.

This gave me some ideas, i hope to use cuts in this way and create a very fast series of shots skipping time as well. I feel this could help to create suspense and when it is finished with a long lasting, slow paced shot, the audience are edgy.
