My main job throughout the time in producing our two minute opening sequence was being Head of Directing. Once Abi and I had planned and finished the storyboard, i had to stick to the shots filming them with a variety in angles and distances. Being Director, i had to keep an eye on what was seen in the shots at all times, including props and whereabouts the actor(s) were standing. I found this would sometimes be a difficult job as sometimes there may be something seen in the shot that prevents it from being realistic. I made sure we did at least 5 copies of each shot, this is incase of any accidental errors when viewing on the computers, we then would have enough to choose from, at least one would then be perfect. A very important job in filming is the placment of the camera, we set our filming in my home, therefore some of the spaces we had was difficult to fit the equipment in, such as in my room. This meant we had to move alot of furniture around. In the shot including an extreme close up of Bea's eyes waking up, you can see in the picture that i had the camera placed on the bed, this is so that we could get a successful birds eye view shot.
Other jobs and areas i had a big part in included the editing and music. Our group had to book out the equipment in order to do this giving us enough time to finish our product before the deadline. I am going to explain more about the jobs i had to do throughout the period of production in my evaluation.
